Live broadcast SAFF cup 2013

ESPN,a major sports broadcaster has taken the 0rights of  beaming theSAFF Cup matches live . this is a really positive move for SAFF.
              the first match will be broadcasted at 6:15 pm IST on 31st august between Nepal and Bangladesh . India's first match is against Pakistan on 1st September

• He has already become the youngest player to have a national debut at 15 years 2 days debut .
• He has already scored ahat trick against the kuwati club al-arabi in an unofficial friendly.

whether he gets playing time in the SAFF cup or not he is sure going to be athorn in the flesh for his opponents in the future.
                                        And if he does get to play in the SAFF cup with gurung by his side nepal are going to one tough customer!

IMG-R i-league plans great ,img-r league???

the clubs ,the major stakeholders in i-league have shown their approval to IMG-R ontheir plans for the marketing of i-league through the different channels possible .
                                                                              But what struck me was why was their no discussion on the IMG-R league ,which has been continuously making headlines more for the wrong reasons than good  .in my opinion it should be discussed as soon as possible .As the careers of stars likes of nabi ,subrata pal etc are in the balance which are of utmost importance to Indian football. 

PAK team first to arrive in nepal

pakistan national team was the first nation to arrive for the SAFF cup nepal 2013 . Taking lessons that players need to acclimatise themselves fromthe previous editions played in the host country. WWhats more,they have organized two friendly against yet unknown opponents .
                   so, have the Indians done it?NO! well,let me remind the blue tigers that they were panting all the way in the last tournament in Nepal ,to THREE STRAIGHT LOSSES   .
     my advice to the Blue tigers get to Nepal ASAP and acclimatize .

IMG-R players in or out

it will be  quite intriguing to see whether wim koevermans includes the img-r players or not  kn the SAFF macthes.As these players have had just one training camp and obviously have had no matches to play before the opening SAFF Clash.
                                                           this point be certainly ringing in the coach's mind . Also , considering the team selection for the Tajikistan friendly which was a BIG SHOCKER.we could just be in for some surprises................
